B-Routine Inspection

In order to discover deficiencies that necessitate routine maintenance works, daily routine inspections are conducted along the Peninsular Federal Roads based on agreed work programme between Roadcare and the Client.

The Inspectors tasks shall comprise the following

  • The inspectors shall inspect and collect all road data such as width and type of roads, shoulders, drains, slopes, berms, structures and road furniture.
  • The inspectors shall also inspect, identify and note down all defects and damages to road pavements, shoulders, drains, road furniture and structures.
  • In the case of major defects or damages that require urgent attention and/or which may affect the safety and comfort of the road user, the inspectors shall inform the Section Manager and JKR immediately.
  • Removal minor obstruction which affect the traffic upon detection.

Note: All open drains (lined and unlined) related work to be carried out under this category of works shall not exceed 2.0m width
