R03-Grass Cutting

Grass cutting along roadsides is conducted to improve safety, traffic flow, and visual appeal. It serves to prevent overgrowth that can obscure visibility, facilitate proper drainage, and enhance the overall environment.

The area involved encompasses

Along the road shoulders and verges including the roadside and shoulder drains

On cut slopes and embankments, grass cutting works shall be limited up to 1m of the slope.

Grass cutting for berm drains, interceptor drains and all other type of drains on slope shall be limited to the drains of the first and second berm of the cut slopes only.

Cycle :

• Protocol roads : 12 cycles/year
• Primary roads : 12 cycles/year
• Secondary roads : 12 cycles/year
